A Status Yellow low temperature and ice warning has been issued for counties Carlow, Dublin, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Longford, Meath, Offaly, Westmeath, Wexford and Wicklow in conjunction with Munster. Met Éireann said during the alert, which is valid from 6pm today until 11am tomorrow, temperatures could fall to “between -2C and -4C” in many areas. A Status Yellow snow and ice warning for counties Cavan, Donegal, Monaghan, Connacht and Louth is due to take effect from 6pm until 11am tomorrow.
