There are various techniques for spoonbending depending on how you utilize energy, intention, and consciousness. For this one, I imagined a deformed spoon, superimposed that image onto the straight spoon, then started bending. Obviously, use a hard spoon, a spoon that does not give - so that you cannot 'muscle' it into bending. This process should be quick to avoid overthinking.
