Every year the RSPB hold one of the world’s largest wildlife surveys called Big Garden Birdwatch, and this year it runs from 23rd – 25th January 2026. The data collected helps the RSPB to monitor trends and to find out how our birds are doing. Each year, volunteers from the reserve’s management committee take part by conducting a one hour survey at each of the bird feeding stations, found within the reserve.
