Weaving a giizhik anaakan (cedar bark mat) in Atikameksheng Anishnawbek First Nation and making history. Cedar bark weaving is a traditional Anishinaabe craft, passed down through the generations. These precious mats are made of cedar bark, and are used to sleep on, dry berries, used as carpets, partitions or to line the walls of a wigwams.
