Deep in the heart of Yellowstone Park, a wolf follows a scent in the falling snow. It’s not often you get to see a wolf this close, for this long. They are the most wary of the Yellowstone animals. There’s a certain quietness to the land when a wolf enters the scene, a muted respect from all the other living things. An hour after I saw this wolf, I was caught in the blizzard where I met the ice bison. I have found that the best moments in the wild are often on days of storms. #outdoors #nature #
