On March 6th Shenandoah National Park Search and Rescue responded to assist an injured hiker in the rock scramble on Old Rag Mountain. The rescue took about 8 hours, including the use of technical rope rescue to safely lower the patient through multiple steep obstacles. A team of 20 conducted a 2-mile litter carry out.
