The story of God placing a cross on a donkey’s back is one of my favorite biblical legends. The legend goes that after Jesus rode a donkey into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, the donkey then followed him to Calvary and stood in the shadow of the cross. God placed the cross on the donkey’s back as a reminder of the donkey’s loyalty and service. It always makes me smile when looking at the cross on our donkey’s at Los Trece, TX!
