65 years ago today, on September 21, 1959, Santo & Johnny had a #1 hit with the instrumental "Sleep Walk". It stayed at #1 for two weeks. Santo & Johnny Farina were two Italian brothers born and raised in Bensonhurst who loved playing music. They recorded "Sleep Walk" for the tiny Brooklyn label Trinity Records and the rest, as they say, is history.
