All uniform items must be approved by the Chief of Police or his designee before items can be worn by department personnel. 1.When wearing the approved WPD uniforms, members shall exhibit at least the following: a. Approved WPD shirt, bearing the appropriate badge, shoulder patch, rank insignia, the member’s nameplate, and service tab.
