Jun 7, 2016 · I have a pair of Super Linton's (W30's) and had a pair of Linton 2's which are with a friend now. I had to find a replacement for one of the Purple Jellyfish Tweeters (they can be repaired) and recapped them.

Jan 31, 2008 · I have a pair of Wharfedale w30 speakers, unfortunately my purple tweeters were bad so I replaced them with Piezo's without modifying the cabinet. They do sound real nice, big speaker sound in a small cabinet.

Mar 20, 2015 · #1. I found a pair of Wharfedale W30D MkII speakers on CL: http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/ele/4941131080.html. The seller says they are in good shape but "sound a little fuzzy". He wants $150 and it is a 3 hour drive from here. Is it worth chasing after these? I'm looking at them as bedroom speakers probably driven by a Sherwood S-7100A.

Jun 11, 2013 · So it all depends on which ones people, as you say, are referring to. The upper Wharfedale ranges like Jade, Opus, Evo and Diamond are outstanding audiophile class speakers. Then there is the real junk like the Zaldeks. I once owned a full 5.0 set of Diamond 9's anchored by the flagship 9.6's up front.
