Jul 16, 2005 · With constant predation from wolves, families seldom ever ate mutton. No mention was made as to whether the critters were Red Wolves or Timber Wolves. Could have been either or both. There are in existence today many local names which relate back to pioneer times. Many of the names suggest the existence of Wolves in former times.

Dec 20, 2009 · Senior Member. Hey guys I spotted a buck and a couple does about 250 yards off in a field at Cade's Cove this afternoon and me and my dad went out towards them. Got to where I knew he'd come cuz a hot doe came within 15 yards of us. Sure enough he came right at me. Got a few pics then started looking at a pink spot on his neck.

May 9, 2009 · a regular rifle scope on a break open spring piston. air rifles because when the piston goes forward. to compress the air to propel the pellet, in addition to the regular. backwards recoil (felt to the shoulder like any gun) the piston "slams" forward to have a reverse effect. Don't know if this also goes for Red Dot sights.

Sep 19, 2024 · The wolves they’re releasing out west are not native wolves, they are timber wolves from Canada. Coyotes are not native to Georgia, their expansion directly coincided with the decreased wolf populations out west. The red wolf to the best of my knowledge was native to the southeast, coyotes came after.

Sear in butter to brown them, then into the Dutch oven with stock and cheap red wine and some herbs to feel fancy. 2ish hours, tender, but not falling apart. It's how I do the squirrel as well, just no wine. Have done it with possum as well, same results. Presents as a chicken wing.

Feb 27, 2024 · Yes, this really is the best bet. A gunsmith or machinist can drill and tap it for a picatinny rail. Or Sumtoy has a custom mount for a Beretta and a Burris/Vortex Red Dot for about $60 but you still have to have the gun drilled But the dot will sit lower than with a Pic rail or a rib mount.
