Is the Ruipro 8k cable the only choice if you want full HDMI

I have been doing a lot of research lately and seem to have come to the conclusion that the Ruipro 8k HDMI 2.1 cable is literally the only choice if you want full HDMI bandwidth and features at a length of 15m (or more). Amazon product ASIN B081SHJJ3C. Obviously, £200 for a cable is a lot of money.

(Or HDMI 2.0 cables or any other number, HDMI cables don't have numbers) HDMI 2.1 is a hardware standard for TV's, AVR's etc. The cable you'd be looking for is an Ultra High-Speed Certified Cable, but they only exist at 3M just now AFAIK and they cost a fortune.

At 9' (3m) all you need for 4k HDR (Dolby Vision and HDR10) is a Premium High Speed HDMI cable (with QR label for authenticity).

May 25, 2013 · The Belkin "HDMI 2.1" cable has been around for a long time, even before the HDMI 2.1 option sets were ratified. Belkin makes great cables but how they got away with this just amazes me. Carefully read the product descriptions and marketing. It has to state, "Ultra High Speed HDMI Cable" to meet the HDMI.org marketing guidelines for HDMI 2.1.

Nov 23, 2005 · Have a look at HDMI Cables - Different Cable Types for more info. If your cable is old it is unlikely to be 48gbps capable and therefore wont allow hdmi 2.1 features to work. The only way to test is to use the cable with hdmi 2.1 compliant devices end to end and see if the features work, e.g. current gen console to hdmi 2.1 tv.
