The setting of a desert with mountains railroading you for half of the game is annoying coming from the near total freedom of Fallout 3. Even once the game opens up, any location not linked to a quest is barely worth going into.

This will remove any mods/ lingering files that may have been present even after removal. If there is no folders then you are ok.

But it's also because 3 has far less than new vegas does (quantity doesn't mean better). Overall i prefer 3. New vegas had potential but it was all wasted. The speech is better in New Vegas. I generally found the quests more interesting than 3's. I even preferred the music in New Vegas to 3. And, Mr. New Vegas was much cooler than 3-Dog, who was pretty lame and rather obnoxious, imo. New Vegas has better DLC with the amazing additions of Dead Money, Old World Blues, and Lonesome Road.
