We also did a clearbra on the nose the first time and that stopped chips but the UV degradation hits the hood and roof the most and that’s what makes it look like it’s time to strip it. On the second one I stripped the degraded wrap off the car myself before we sold it and the paint was perfect.

Jun 29, 2020 · One: yes you can do it if you are very patient, watch lots of videos and are willing to learn. Expect your first full wrap to take a lot of time. Two: don’t plan on doing it for $400. You will HAVE to plan on extra material because you WILL make mistakes. You also NEED proper tools to do a good job.

Jun 29, 2023 · I think a wrap is maybe 1/2 to 3/4 the cost of a re spray. But like I said earlier, so many places price it based on the value of your car. Eg respraying or wrapping a people carrier is a physically bigger job than a Ferrari. But would prob cost half the amount. They know you can afford it so they talk up the attention to detail etc.

Mar 24, 2023 · Anywhere from $5-10k. A wrap on this car would be 2K to 3K depending on the shop. I don't think it's worth the wrap because there will be additional labor costs just to prep the car to be wrapped. You can actually get a cheap paint job that will last much longer than a wrap for about the same price.
