Remove NEW Outlook from system and revert to MAIL
Oct 9, 2024 · Many including myself agree the new outlook isn't ready. The only thing Microsoft did wrong is forcing it down our throat. As a side note, I have all 3 versions of email clients, the default Mail app, Outlook (new) and Outlook 2016 desktop app. I can choose which app I want to use and it doesn't "redirect" me to Outlook (new) app.

May 30, 2023 · I have enabled desktop notifications in the New Outlook app. But once I close the app, I don't receive notifications from the app. I have also enabled desktop notifications in the windows settings too. When I open the app, I get notifications of new emails being sent but once I close the app, I don't receive notifications anymore.

I'm just getting to the point in life where I do not want to keep saving my emails before needing to perform a Windows 11 reboot or move to a new computer.
