Is Geekbench biased to Apple? : r/hardware - Reddit
Oct 11, 2023 · Geekbench tests short, bursty workloads that are common for regular consumer use of their devices. I think herein lies the real bias when people compare Apple's passively cooled mobile chips with desktop class CPUs. Geekbench …

Geekbench - Cross-Platform Benchmark - Reddit
Maxing out Geekbench 3's memory score with a 5950X and Xtreem ARGB RAM on a Gigabyte B550 Master (youtube.com) There, you could see a memory score after every benchmark. I downloaded Geekbench 6, in difference to geekbench 3 in the video, and ran a benchmark, but could not locate any memory scores.
Is Geekbench 5 a reasonable CPU benchmark? : r/hardware - Reddit
But I don't think geekbench 5 is that bad of a benchmark. A lot of people give it shit simply because of how well iphones do. They find "geekbench is a bad benchmark" to be easier to believe than "apple makes incredibly fast cores" Also, Geekbench is a very short benchmark, It probably completes before the iphone hits it thermal limits.

If you think Geekbench is accurate for cross cpu architecture
Mar 18, 2019 · Geekbench is a better test than the Witcher 3 when it is working properly and despite its flaws, than this arbitrary litmus test you've posed. The only thing this post has done is find one inconsistent benchmark on one single device (the official score is being pulled from one of a few Geekbench scores uploaded all from the same Windows system).
Beware with Geekbench v6 results! : r/ReverseEngineering - Reddit
May 4, 2024 · Geekbench is trying to test real workloads, and real workloads don't just deliberately sabotage CPU capabilities. It's not uncommon for performance sensitive code to look at what the CPU is capable of, and use the best implementation for those capabilities (in fact, some may go further and check the CPU model and dispatch based on that).
Userbenchmark vs Geekbench : r/buildapc - Reddit
Oct 5, 2019 · Geekbench is fairly new (2007) and their scores don't correlate much to anything even amount their versions like say 4.0 vs. 3.0 or 4.1 vs. 4.0 etc... Macs probably have less background task/apps running. I know geekbench on the PC, you can get a higher school by just turning down all the background task and services etc.
Is the comparison between Geekbench scores for ARM (Android
Geekbench doesn't stress the CPU at all, it's not even hitting the CPU barely past idle so you aren't even taxing the CPU die at all let alone the coolign solution as a whole. It would be like doing a 0-60 time in a car with no coolant in it but keeping the throttle at the 13% position at most and wandering why it's so slow and overheats.
ELI5: Why does it seem like Cinebench is now the standard
Sep 6, 2021 · Geekbench in particular is criticized for being a synthetic benchmark. CineBench may be niche, but it's a real-world benchmark based on actual performance. GeekBench uses a random series of workload tests and applied an arbitrarily defined scoring system to then to create a final synthetic score.
