Dec 15, 2022 · Hi All Last Sunday, we got the delivery of our 7 seats Model Y Long Range. So far we are loving it. We had the home charger installed yesterday and I had a technician coming over due to a problem with opening the glove box which allowed me to raise some questions that I had after using the vehicle for a couple days.

Jul 13, 2024 · I think the OP is talking about the software locked RWD Standard Range that in fact has a 79.4 kWh battery. Branden Flasch presented this Tesla in one of his videos and it has a very good charging speed, it matches the charging speed of the LFP Tesla Model Y made by Giga Berlin. Which is on par to charging the 800V architecture EV.

Apr 19, 2020 · I have Teslafi - I live in the SF California Bay Area. Actual range is very different from my model 3 obviously -long range rwd, to awd on the Y. Higher speeds and inclines real drop range compare to the 3 in my experience- it’s bigger and heavier. I did notice keeping it 65 and under gets my watt hour/mi 265-300 - but my normal is 300-400.

Aug 5, 2024 · The indicated range of my Model Y dropped immediately from 326 miles to 314 miles during a charge to 100% at around 22K miles and has since dropped again slightly to 309 miles at 23.5K. Based on the indicated range, I had lost only 4 miles of the original 330 over 22K miles, which was suspiciously good.

Jan 7, 2025 · The LFP battery was used in the Tesla Model 3 Standard Range, no longer on sale in USA. Any other Tesla that is called LR or P has NCA/NMC battery which can be charged to 100% but should be driven shortly after or else there can be an increased long term degradation.
