A speed skating rink (or speed skating oval) is an ice rink in which a speed skating competition is held.

The standard 400 m long course speedskating oval consists of two lanes. The turns at either end of the course have a diameter of 54-56 yd (50-52 m). Even though athletes race against the clock instead of one another, each race in a speedskating competition involves two skaters.

The Utah Olympic Oval is an indoor speed skating oval located 14 miles (23 km) southwest of Salt Lake City, in Kearns, Utah. The Oval was built for the 2002 Winter Olympics and it hosted the long-track speed skating events for the 2002 games, a role it is expected reprise for the 2034 Winter Olympics.

Oval sizes vary; in short track speed skating, the rink must be an oval of 111.12 metres, while long track speed skating uses a similarly standardized 400 m rink. Inline skating rinks are between 125 and 400 metres, though banked tracks can only be 250 metres long.
