Feb 14, 2014 · The Blade 104 and 98 16x19 are 2 of my all time favorites. The 104 is just a little light in stock form and some may not like the extra length. The 16x19 is a baseliners dream, capable of huge heavy groundies.

Feb 12, 2024 · Thank you TW for choosing me! I own sticks from 55ra to 66ra that I can compare the V9 to - most directly, the v8 18x20 blade. Top 3 current control sticks I have tried and own are the Dunlop CX200 tour, Wilson Ultra pro and Wilson blade. I haven't tried the Prince ATS 95 nor the Head Prestige Pro yet.

Aug 24, 2024 · Recently switched from a Blade v9 100 to the RF01 (not pro). Took a bit of customizing, but now really loving it. Swings very easy and fast through the air and makes the Blade feel clunky. Tried the RF01 with Babolat RPM Blast @ 50lbs and did not like it.

But the Blade is no slouch -- step into it and punch, and you'll find a stable volley that penetrates the court. And if you're just blocking back a high-velocity groundstroke, you'll win the battle with the ball.

But even then, they won't paint an obvious Blade mold with another silo - they would if you use something that looks completely different, like a Steam, Tour etc

Sep 14, 2024 · When the blade launched they had Serena, Novak, Tsonga, and dozens of other pros endorsing the paint. It would take a similar mega marketing effort from HEAD to approach those levels of popularity in one silo. I appreciate they are offering a cool 98 spec but think it’s nearly impossible to reach blade heights with this.
