Mar 20, 2024 · I don't find straight celery juice unpleasant at all, but it's certainly fine to mix it with something. I recommend adding carrot, perhaps trying a 50-50 mix. If that doesn't do it, add a bit of green apple or else play with the carrot-to-celery ratio.

Dec 13, 2020 · If you can, I suggest mixing celery juice with other things. In addition to celery, I add red cabbage (molybdenum, sulforaphane, etc.), parsley, carrot, dinosaur/lacinato kale and a bit of green apple to make it more palatable. I also add whatever else I have for variety of nutrients (a few fresh cranberries).

Stalk is technically the entire bunch of celery, but that recipe is wrong, they mean just one individual rib. FWIW: If you have access to a Kroger, that is the only store I've ever seen that sells individual ribs of celery.

It is high in mannitol, which is a carb (also a FODMAP) that even gives healthy digestive systems problems in high enough doses.
