Mar 1, 2012 · This paper presented an algorithm which is verified to be capable of identifying slums in Hyderabad (India) using very high resolution remote sensing data. We found that slums in Hyderabad occupied a total area of 6.4 km 2 or approximately 1.6% of the total area in 2003.
