Their team is the only undefeated squad in the nation, newly crowned Big Ten Champions, and the No. 1 seed in the College Football Playoff. The Ducks also get a second-round game that is close to home, in Pasadena at the Rose Bowl.

No. 1 Oregon football won't know which team it will play in the Rose Bowl until No. 6 Ohio State and No. 7 Tennessee play in a first round of the CFP.

Ohio State has made 16 previous appearances in the Rose Bowl, third-most in the game's history behind USC (34) and Michigan (21). The Buckeyes have won their last four games in Pasadena, most recently beating Washington in 2019 and Utah in 2022.

The Oregon Ducks are gearing up for the Rose Bowl as the No. 1 seed in the College Football Playoff. Key players like wide Tez Johnson, defensive lineman Jordan Burch, and offensive lineman Marcus Harper II have returned to the lineup from injuries.

Oregon football is getting some bad news as it prepares for the College Football Playoff. The Ducks are losing outside linebacker Emar’rion Winston to the transfer portal, per 247 Sports. Winston is a former four-star recruit who made 27 tackles for Oregon in the last two seasons.
