The Health Ministry said 45,028 people have been killed and 106,962 have been wounded since the start of the war in October 2023.

More than 50 people were killed in Israeli air and ground attacks across the Gaza Strip on Sunday, according to local medics and rescuers. They said children, a cameraman who worked for the Al Jazeera TV network and personnel from the Civil Defence agency were among the dead.

Airwars, which charts civilian casualties of 21st century conflict, calls Israel’s campaign in Gaza “by far the most intense, destructive, and fatal conflict” it has tracked.
