Sea breezes and outflow boundaries are starting to set up now, and storms are expected to begin in the next few hours.

Central Florida will stay dry until early Wednesday afternoon, when a few isolated showers will begin to form.

The chance of rain remains high on Friday due to plenty of moisture and a southwesterly steering flow. As a frontal boundary lingers north of South Florida, a very moist, unstable atmosphere will allow for scattered to numerous storms to develop.

This week marks the last week of the summer season, and Central Florida will continue to experience a very summer-like weather pattern with a few afternoon storms expected.

ORLANDO, Fla. - After a mostly dry start to our morning, showers and storms will once again return this afternoon across Central Florida. These will begin to form and move into the region as early as noon, with best chances of showers and storms starting at around 4pm.

Coastal areas of Central Florida could see more rain and storm activity. Afternoon storm chances will stay around 40% to 30% for the rest of the week. The high temperature in Orlando should also reach around 90 degrees for the rest of the week.

Although Tuesday morning was off to a clear start, the afternoon hours bring potential for rain and a severe storm or two. From 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., WESH 2's First Warning Weather team is calling for Impact Weather due to the risk for strong storms in the eastern portions of Central Florida.
