Chris Rock opened Saturday Night Live with a crack about Lorne Michaels having 25 out of 50 good years on the late night show before going dark with jokes about the suspected CEO killer and how it hasn’t been a great year for Black people in America.

Chris Rock returned to Studio 8H this week on Saturday Night Live… and he had plenty of thoughts on what’s happening in the news. The former SNL cast member hosted Saturday’s episode and opened with a monologue that dove right into the topics of the day,

Rock kicked things off by roasting YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul over his upcoming fight with boxing legend Mike Tyson. “Who is this Jake Paul? This 27-year-old punching a 60-year-old in the face,” Rock quipped.
