The Ohio State women's basketball team has advanced to the NCAA Tournament's second round and has a March Madness matchup with the Tennessee Volunteers ahead.

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State women’s basketball took the stage in its opening March Madness game and did not disappoint a home crowd at the Schottenstein Center. The four-seed Buckeyes routed the 13-seed Montana State Bobcats, 71-51.

The Ohio State women's ice hockey team doubled up Cornell 4-2 to advance to the Frozen Four National Championship game Sunday.

Joy Dunne scored back-to-back goals in the third period and No. 2 seed Ohio State beat No. 3 seed Cornell to advance to its fourth straight national title game on Sunday.

Despite graduating 10 players from last year's title team, Ohio State is back in the Frozen Four. The Buckeyes will face Cornell Friday evening.
