No sooner had authorities swooped in to pick up 26-year-old Luigi Mangione on Monday than reviews referencing rodents and snitches proliferated online.

The McDonald's in Altoona where Luigi Mangione, the suspect in United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson's death, was arrested on Monday quickly drew attention from neighbors who wanted to stop by the spot that had suddenly brought international attention to their community.

Speculation had abounded earlier this week that the McDonald's employee who called the police on Mangione would not get the reward, because the person phoned 911 instead of the Crime Stoppers tip line. The Police Foundation, however, confirmed to The Washington Post that the McDonald's tipster is still eligible for the reward.
