The Rule continues its box office success, collecting Rs 1,300 crore globally despite the controversy surrounding Allu Arjun's arrest. The incident may have even boosted the film's performance, according to trade expert Ramesh Bala.

Popular Indian actor Allu Arjun was arrested from his residence following an incident at a theatre where his movie Pushpa 2: The Rule was playing. Shortly after the arrest, he was granted four-week interim bail.

Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil-starrer has broken several records at the box office since its release.

Pushpa 2 is now the third biggest Hindi grosser of all time, only behind Stree 2 and Jawan. The pan-India film stars Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna.
