According to a new leak, the Samsung Galaxy S26 might not use an under-display camera after all due to poor performance.

Despite early rumors suggesting Samsung would include a UDC on the Galaxy S26, it appears the company hasn’t worked out enough issues to its satisfaction. According to leaker PandaFlash on X, it's highly unlikely that Samsung will adopt an under-display camera in the Galaxy S series for at least the next two or three years (via Digital Trends ).

We expect Samsung to follow its tradition and unveil the new Galaxy S26 series in the first quarter of 2026. It's likely this is either going to be early February or mid-January. Judging by the last few years of Samsung Galaxy S Unpacked events, expect a Wednesday. Of course, it's still quite early to have leaks about the exact date.
