At 1:40 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, burglars targeted Lazic Deli, at 7035 W. Higgins Ave. near Nordica Avenue, about seven city blocks to the west of Sweet Café. Police found the front door of the deli had been damaged.

Chicago police are looking to identify a group of masked individuals responsible for a string of business burglaries on the city’s Northwest Side.

Police issued a warning Wednesday that one lone man is behind nearly 30 burglaries across Chicago's North and Northwest sides.Detectives are looking for the man, as those running the businesses said the burglaries were a hit to their bottom line during a tough time.
