An absolute highlight of FireAid was the comet-like reappearance of the remaining members of Nirvana onstage together playing the band's songs again.

The five-hour fundraising extravaganza also featured performances from California natives such as Katy Perry, Dr Dre and Billie Eilish, while people who lost homes and relatives shared their stories.
