COLONIAL HEIGHTS – After almost a year of rumors that Macy’s Inc. would close its Southpark Mall store, the nation’s top-selling retailer made it official. Sometime this year, the store will go dark.

Macy’s has been an anchor tenant at the South County mall, situated at the intersection of interstates 55 and 255, since 2006.
