Now that an incredibly busy trade deadline period has come to a close, it's time to turn our attention to the next big item on the basketball calendar: 2025 NBA All-Star Weekend. This year's edition is set to run from Feb.

Mac McClung, a two-time NBA Slam Dunk champion, has committed to the 2025 NBA Slam Dunk Contest at next month’s All-Star weekend in San Francisco.

Orlando Magic two-way guard Mac McClung will take flight in the 2025 AT&T Slam Dunk on Saturday, February 15 at Chase Center in San Francisco. The event will be the third event of State Farm All-Star Saturday Night,

Mac McClung will compete against Bucks second-year player Andre Jackson Jr., Bulls rookie Matas Buzelis and Spurs rookie Stephon Castle.

It is starting to feel egregious, though, that McClung continues to participate without a roster spot in the NBA. Currently signed to a two-way deal for the Orlando Magic, the 26-year-old former undrafted free agent has played just five minutes in the NBA so far this season.

Shams Charania of ESPN first reported on Monday afternoon that McClung would join San Antonio’s Stephon Castle, Matas Buzelis of Chicago and Milwaukee’s Andre Jackson Jr. in the event.

Mac McClung will go for a three-peat as the reigning two-time NBA slam dunk contest champion will return for this year's All-Star event, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania.
