The Capitals unveiled their “Celebrating Black History” jersey at their practice facility on Wednesday and hosted a panel discussion about pathways to hockey as well as a skate for a group of students, faculty and staff from Howard University, a historically Black institution in Washington.

The Museum DC has designed an exclusive Black History Month jersey for one of the hottest teams in the NHL, the Washington Capitals.

The Washington Capitals unveiled today a Celebrating Black History Specialty jersey designed by The Museum DC. The jersey debuted during a special Black History Month panel, “Celebrating Black History – Pathways to Hockey”,
