Former Alabama football strength coach Scott Cochran continued to fill his West Alabama staff with familiar faces on Thursday. UWA announced former Crimson Tide running back Bo Scarbrough and defensive lineman Damien Square will join Cochran in Livingston.

Another day, another pair of Alabama football champions added to Scott Cochran's coaching staff at West Alabama, bringing the Crimson Tide alumni counter to six.

Former Crimson Tide RB Bo Scarborugh becomes the next guy to join Scott Cochran on his new staff at West Alabama in an administrative role.

“We’re thrilled to welcome another Alabama Football legend and NFL Champion, O.J. Howard,” Cochran said in a statement. “O.J. was an outstanding athlete at Alabama, earning a first-round NFL Draft selection, but what truly set him apart was his leadership. He is a leader of men, and that’s exactly why he’s the perfect fit for this role.”

Former Alabama RB Bo Scarbrough has joined the coaching staff of former Crimson Tide assistant Scott Cochran at West Alabama.

Howard joins former Alabama quarterback Blake Sims (wide receivers coach), former Crimson Tide defensive back and running back Ronnie Clark (running backs coach) and former Alabama long snapper Scott Fletcher (special teams coordinator) on Cochran's first staff. Howard will join the team April 1.
