Introduced just 10 years after the end of the Civil War in 1876 by Carl Conrad and Co., Budweiser will celebrate its 150th birthday next year. Adolphus Busch (of Anheuser–Busch fame) aimed to create a lager that appealed to American tastes but was modeled after the beers of the Bohemian region of Europe.

Budweiser teases 2025 Clydesdale Super Bowl ad
In a press release, company described the ad: “Back with a heartfelt story that showcases the grit, resilience and dedication of the brand that has been delivering for its consumers since 1876, the commercial will air nationally on Budweiser’s digital channels and in select markets during the game’s broadcast.”
Anheuser-Busch is investing in more Super Bowl commercials. Clydesdales will be back.
With three minutes of national advertising time and 45 seconds of regional time, the brewer becomes this year’s largest Super Bowl advertiser for beer, alcohol and consumer packaged goods companies.
