At one of the entrances of the station you can spot a City of London blue plaque that marks the hospital’s original location.

A broken remnant of a headstone bearing the name Mary Godfree and the date “Sept 1665” was exposed during excavation of the Bedlam burial ground, London’s first municipal cemetery.
