AMES, Iowa — Ames police are investigating after a townhouse was shot at multiple times Wednesday night, according to a press release.

The Ames Police Department is investigating a possible homicide after a man was found with a gunshot wound and later died Saturday evening. At approximately 6:30 p.m., Ames police and medical officers responded to an apartment located at South 5th Street in Ames.

Police in Ames are investigating a shooting that damaged a townhome Wednesday night. It happened around 7:45 p.m. in the 3100 block of Quartz Avenue. According to a news release from Ames police, officers arrived to find the home had been struck several times by gunshots.
