Dr. Hostin was accused in a Dec. 17, 2024 suit filed by American Transit of getting “kickbacks” for surgeries and fraudulently billing the company, which insures taxi companies, Uber and Lyft drivers, among others. He is one of 200 defendants named in the suit.
"We have put American Transit on notice and will file a five-million-dollar counter lawsuit for their defamatory claims," Hostin said in a statement obtained by PEOPLE
