Israel conducted nearly 75 airstrikes in Syria’s Damascus, Homs, Hama, and the Tartus region over the weekend to target missile depots and air defence systems

The Israeli military hit weapons depots and air defenses, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. Israel has said it aims to keep military equipment out of the hands of extremists after rebels seized power a week ago.

Israel destroyed Syrian military aircraft, warships, and weapons facilities to stop rebel groups from using them after the fall of the Assad regime.
