Sarah Michelle Gellar opened up about the process of bringing Buffy the Vampire Slayer back to life, and now I'm convinced it's going to be great.

According to early reports of the reboot, Gellar will only appear in a recurring capacity and will not be leading the series. Instead, the series will reportedly feature a new slayer, which sounds like Buffy may be serving as a mentor to the new young hero. She will also serve as an executive producer on the series.
