After more than four weeks on strike, 55,000 Canada Post employees will be back on the job Tuesday after being ordered to return to work by a tribunal that ruled there was an impasse in bargaining.

Justin Trudeau said out loud what many were wondering as the postal strike dragged into its fourth week. “It is endangering the long-term viability of Canada Post as a service that Canadians rely on,” the prime minister said.
