However, Jones never lived up to his hefty contract, totaling just 8.5 sacks during his two seasons in Seattle. He was set to carry the fourth-largest cap hit of any Seahawk in 2025 at roughly $25.6 million, per OverTheCap. Jones will still carry a cap hit of just under $14.1 million in dead money in 2025.
