Nintendo’s latest earnings report is out and sales of the Switch console have plummeted after the Switch 2 rumors and announcement, exactly as you’d expect. Switch sales are now projected to hit 11.0 million for the year ending March, down from 12.5 million units forecasted.

Following the release of its financial results on Tuesday, Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa answered a series of questions from investors. The Nintendo Switch has been a huge success by any measure, surpassing 150 million total sales just this month. Nintendo might not move many more Switches, though. With the Switch 2 now official, gamers will probably hold off until they can pick up Nintendo’s new console.
