Twelve Chinese nationals — including mercenary hackers, law enforcement officers and employees of a private hacking company — have been charged in connection with global cybercrime campaigns targeting dissidents,

Federal authorities charged 10 alleged Chinese hackers-for-hire and two officials they accused of leading a global cyberespionage scheme.

The suspects include two officers of China’s Ministry of Public Security. The State Department is offering a $10 million reward for information.
