A crowd of community members gathered under gray skies Sunday afternoon outside the Maryland Cracker Barrel where a group of special needs and autistic children were denied dine-in service earlier this month.

Cracker Barrel leadership fired three employees at a Charles County, Maryland location after a story of students with special needs who were told they couldn't eat inside the restaurant went viral, according to a statement.
