Orlando Magic two-way guard Mac McClung committed to participating in the Slam Dunk Contest at NBA All-Star Weekend 2025.

McClung has won each of the past two dunk contests and will be looking to become the first player since the event’s inception in 1984 to three-peat. Nate Robinson, who came out on top in 2006, 2009 and 2010, is the only player to win the dunk contest more than twice.

The Dunk Contest will be part of All-Star Saturday Night, Feb. 15 at the Chase Center in San Francisco (home to the Golden State Warriors). The entire evening will be broadcast on TNT, including the 3-point contest and a reported return (and expansion) of the Stephen Curry/Sabrina Ionescu shootout.

Shams Charania of ESPN first reported on Monday afternoon that McClung would join San Antonio’s Stephon Castle, Matas Buzelis of Chicago and Milwaukee’s Andre Jackson Jr. in the event.
