There have been 58 Super Bowls played in NFL history, and somehow, there are still 12 teams that have yet to win a Lombardi Trophy. However, that number could be going down by one this year and that's because there are five teams in the playoffs that will have a chance to end their Super Bowl drought.

The four NFC and four AFC division champions and six wild-card teams - the three non-division winners with the best records in each conference - will compete in a single elimination tournament. The final four will play in the AFC and NFC championship games on Jan.

The race to Super Bowl LIX is down to just 14 teams now that the playoff field is set. Twelve teams will battle it out this weekend to advance toward the divisional round and inch one step closer to being crowned the NFL's in New Orleans on Feb.
