Within the first two days of the portal opening, a number of former five-star recruits entered, including former Oklahoma starting quarterback Jackson Arnold. The SEC has a few teams that have seen a large number of players enter, and currently, Arkansas is at the top of the list.

The college football transfer portal officially opened for business Monday. There already have been more than 1,500 FBS scholarship players -- and almost 2,000 total FBS players -- enter their names into the portal.

The NCAA transfer portal opened up on Monday, and players from around the country jumped in enthusiastically. Every program has been hit by attrition since the portal reopened. That's just the nature of college football these days.
