Cleveland Browns star defensive end Myles Garrett left the game against the Kansas City Chiefs with an eye injury. The reigning defensive player of the year was trying to work around Chiefs' offensive lineman Joe Thuney when he suffered the injury.

Thuney started at left tackle for the Chiefs after starter D.J. Humphries was ruled out with a hamstring injury. Thuney, an All-Pro guard, slid over to held handle Garrett, who headed into the game tied for second in the NFL with 11.0 sacks.
